The Palazzo Super Automatic from Solis comes with Rapid Steam System that allows to switch from coffee brewing to steam in virtually no time. You can make the perfect cappucino or latte just like they do in a professional coffee shop. Only 11" wide this espresso machine fits onto the smallest kitchen counter and offers the same function as many bigger machines. The Palazzo buil-in grinder has 18 settings to choose from fine to coarse grinding and can be adjusted to use 6-9g of beans per serving. 2 buttons can be programmed to dispense different quantities of espresso/coffee. Other programmable functions: pre-rinse option (the machine will rinse the brew unit each time it warms up to make sure no residues of 'old' coffee are in the system), pre-brew option (to rbing out the aroma the coffee ground is moistened first and then brewed after a short pause), pre-grind option (coffee is ground right after the brewing process is done for the next coffee; should not be used if the next coffee isn't needed right away to ensure best ground quality), bypass doser option (if a different coffee flavor is desired, ground coffee can be used instead of the beans, great for decaf). Solis super automatic machines are equipped with the Solis F.C.S.(Full Cleanning System). Cleaning is done by the press of a button. Every once in a while, you also have to remove the brew unit and rinse that off. To prevent scaling in the boiler, the machines need to be decalcified every 2 to 3 month. The Solis has a fully automatic progam for that too. Before first use, you can check the hardness of your water with an enclosed test strip and adjust the machine accordingly.
