Messermeister Meridian Elite Carving 8"
This 8" Carving Knife has a narrow spear point fine edge blade and is a useful tool for small to medium carving chores. For large roasts take a look at our 10" version. It is used to both separate meat from the bone and slice it into thin serving portions.

Messermeister Elite features one piece fully forged knives, produced from a single block of German Krupp Tool Steel. This forging technique allows carbon to be equally distributed throughout the knife, giving it strength and durability. The edge is polished using a 3 step hand-sharpening and -polishing technique with a japanese style edge angle degreee of 15-20 degree. The spine is polished and slightly rounded. The knife is perfectly balanced reducing fatigue and allow effortless cutting. A traditional full tang extends from the blade into the full handle. Rivets permanently secure the handle to the tang.
