This 2 Piece Chef's Knife and Parer Set consists of the two essential knives that everyone should have in their kitchen. The 3.5" spear point paring knife is ideal for paring, peeling, scraping, slicing, and trimming small fruits and vegetables. The 8" chef's knife is the most versatile knife in the kitchen and thus the most used blade style by professional chefs to slice, dice, chop, and mince.

Messermeister Elite features one piece fully forged knives, produced from a single block of German Krupp Tool Steel. This forging technique allows carbon to be equally distributed throughout the knife, giving it strength and durability. The edge is polished using a 3 step hand-sharpening and -polishing technique with a japanese style edge angle degreee of 15-20 degree. The spine is polished and slightly rounded. The knife is perfectly balanced reducing fatigue and allow effortless cutting. A traditional full tang extends from the blade into the full handle. Rivets permanently secure the handle to the tang.
